Missouri State University announced a partnership with a historically black university to allow their students to pursue an accelerated master’s degree program.
MSU will partner with Central State University of Wilberforce, Ohio on the new program. The program allows CSU students to start taking graduate courses during their junior and/or senior year and is open to any student graduating from any program at CSU where there is no current master’s degree program.
“With this partnership, Central State University students can complete their bachelor’s degree, while at the same time jump-start the process of earning a top-quality master’s degree from Missouri State University,” MSU President Clif Smart said in a statement. “This will save them time and money, and support their future academic and career success.”
Calling Missouri State a school that focuses on empowering students to be world leaders, Central State University President Jack Thomas praised the agreement.
“It certainly warms our hearts to partner with them as we develop the next generation of innovative leaders,” Thomas said.
