Metro will be conducting more improvements to the C Line (Green) signaling system this weekend, starting Friday, Dec 4 at 8pm through Sunday, Dec 6 close of service.
In order for crews to complete the work, three Green Line stations—Vermont/Athens, Crenshaw and Hawthorne/Lennox—will be closed and bus shuttles will replace train service.
This means all eastbound trains will travel as far as Aviation/LAX and return to Redondo Beach. All westbound trains will travel as far as Harbor Freeway Station and return to Norwalk.
Customers planning to travel in the work area should allow extra time between shuttle buses and trains. Regular service to all stations will resume at start of service Monday, Dec. 7.
