A shooting that was sparked by a dispute between two families reportedly left one person dead and two others wounded Sunday night in southwest Fort Worth.

Officers found the three gunshot victims after they responded about 8 p.m. to the 3300 block of Galemeadow Drive, near McCart Avenue and Sycamore School Road.

Police said all three were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead. The other two were in serious but stable condition.

Investigators said a disagreement between two families seemed to have led to the shooting but did not provide any details. The victims’ names were not released.
