Monan
Monan ('food dish' in Vietnamese) is owned by a Singapore-Vietnam couple Chuk and Kim. The restaurant is a favorite destination for pork lovers, with dishes made from the animal's meat and offal.

The restaurant’s innard broth is a popular menu item made from pork intestines, liver and white radish. One can also try a noodle dish with pork, egg and sausage toppings, along with meatballs, pork belly, pork skin and radish.
Customers can also order pork rib broth, with each bowl containing two large pieces of simmered pork ribs, plus meatballs.
The restaurant opens from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day, except Tuesday. It is located at 335 Smith Street.
Bao Er Café
This eatery was also founded by a Vietnam-Singapore couple and quickly became popular online. It is located on the second floor of the Balestier Plaza, and has a cozy, friendly atmosphere.

Customers can enjoy traditional Singaporean dishes at reasonable prices, such as Hokkien Mee (stir-fried noodles). Toppings include lobster and pork belly.
The shop’s signature dish is toast with kaya and coconut jam, which is made from fresh coconut juice. The toast will be cut in half and toasted twice for a crunchy, light texture.
The STB said Bao Er Café scores well with customers thanks to food quality, making it a must-try destination for any visitor to Singapore.
The café opens from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. It is located at 400 Balestier Street.
Lo Quay
Lo Quay is a Vietnamese restaurant run by chef Quynh Brown, who has around 20 years of experience.

The restaurant has 54 seats, providing Vietnamese and Western fusion dishes.
It opens from 12 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. It is located at 88 Amoy Street.
