CHICAGO — It’s been a chilly few days for the city — but much warmer weather is coming next week. It could even hit 80 degrees.
Tuesday and Wednesday saw unseasonably cold weather and snow. But Thursday and Friday will warm up to 57 degrees, with sunny skies Thursday but clouds and a chance for rain Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday has another chance for rain an expected high temperature of 53 degrees, according to the weather agency. Sunday will be colder, with an expected high of 50 degrees, but the day will be mostly sunny.
Next week will see significantly warmer weather, though.
Monday is expected to get as warm as 68 degrees, according to the weather agency. It’ll be breezy but partly sunny.
And Tuesday could hit 81 degrees and be partly sunny.
Wednesday will cool off a bit, with an expected high temperature of 69 degrees. The day will be mostly cloudy with a chance for rain and thunderstorms, according to the weather agency.
