Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh and her businessman husband Do Vinh Quang, son of bank tycoon Do Quang Hien, explored Singaporean cuisine during their trip to the city-state to watch Taylor Swift's concert.
Linh and her husband went to Singapore to watch the first show on March 2 in the six-night Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in the city-state, which is Swift's only stop in Southeast Asia. |
The couple booked a table at Black Cow restaurant on Beach Road, voted one of the best Wagyu rib restaurants in Singapore. The restaurant offers premium hot pot options with A5 black cattle wagyu from Japan, including A5 Matsusaka, Omi, or Hida beef. |
The restaurant is known for its high-quality ingredients and luxurious space. Beef is prepared with salmon eggs, sea urchins and truffle mushrooms, also called black diamond because of its expensive and nutritious quality. |
Linh posted a photo of her husband Quang after they lined up early to try the Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle located in the Crawford Lane culinary district. |
This restaurant was run by Tang Chay Seng from the 1930s, then passed it on to his son. |
For refreshment, the couple stopped to buy milk tea at a shopping center in Marina Bay. While Linh chose a glass of fruit tea with cheese cream, her husband enjoyed pearl milk tea. The milk tea here is made from rich, creamy milk tea and a layer of smooth salty cheese. |
This milk tea brand is quite famous in Asia, originating from China. It opened its first branch in Singapore in 2019 and quickly expanded to 10 locations, including Orchard and Marina Bay areas – the two largest shopping malls in this city-state. |
