JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 47-year-old man for the blunt force murder of a man at the beginning of March.
Police responded to 3800 Franklin Street on March 1 after the half-brother of the victim called 911. He and the victim lived at the home for the past three years. The brother told Action News Jax that he walked into the house around 9 a.m. that morning and found his half-brother behind the door with a stone next to his hand and gloves on.
Police said that 58-year-old victim suffered from blunt force trauma and they suspected foul play.
On Wednesday, LaTerres Bryant was arrested and charged with Murder in the Second Degree. According to the jail log, Bryant is not eligible for bond.
