Thomas Scalora is big fan of Beethoven — and, improbably, Billie Eilish — as his 70th birthday nears.
Eilish is a megastar nearly a half-century younger than Scalora, a retired analytical chemist and grandfather of four from Jefferson. But, unlikely as it sounds, some of Eilish’s fans were until recently his classmates.
