According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will reach 58 degrees under sunny skies on Monday. The dry and mild day will get some stiff wind gusts over higher terrain but remain calm near downtown. Overnight temperature will dip to 29 degrees.
Conditions will be even warmer on Tuesday, with a partly sunny high of 60 degrees. As temperatures fall below freezing, a 20% chance of snow builds after 11 p.m. The snow will begin in the mountains and spill into the metro area and plains by Wednesday.
Snow is likely for Denver after 11 a.m., with a high of 36 degrees on Wednesday. Winds could gust up to 20 mph. Some say Denver could get up to six inches of snow, but models are trending between three and four inches with six inches on the west side of town.
There’s a 70% chance of precipitation as the storm is expected to last through 11 p.m. Forecasters say the most significant travel impacts may come during the Wednesday evening commute while temperatures march into the teens.
