Much of the Harrisburg region is in for a cooler Monday as high temperatures drop about 10 degrees from Sunday’s high.

And according to the National Weather Service at State College, temperatures will continue to cool down as some midweek rain moves in.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 65 and a low of 40. It will be a breezy afternoon, too, with winds of 6 to 16 mph and gusts up to 30 mph.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 59 and a low around 42.

Wednesday will see a 70 percent chance of rain after 8 a.m., tapering off to a 40 percent chance at night. Expect a high of 51 and a low of 40.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high of 61 and a low of 40.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 55 and a low of 34 and a 50 percent chance of showers.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 52 and a low around 37.

And Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of 59.
