COLUMBUS, Ohio – Two Ohio State graduate transfers, Carly Santoro and Carmen Grande, both completed their master’s degrees this summer and now are officially Ohio State graduates.
Santoro played three seasons at Bowling Green and also earned her degree in communication disorders in those three years. In her lone season at Ohio State in 2018-19, she was one of two Buckeyes to average in double figures at 11.3 ppg and she was named honorable mention All-Big Ten. She started and played all 29 games and led the team with 42 three-pointers made and 328 points scored. Santoro earned her master’s degree in education.
Grande came to Ohio State after three years at Ball State where she earned an undergraduate degree in mathematical science. She too played and started all 29 games earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors. Grande led the team in minutes played at almost 35 per game, had 144 assists which was fifth in the Big Ten and led the team at over 82 percent from the free throw line. She received her master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering.
